Last time...i promise

Can someone who has done the SBP mod tell me how they ut a pinion on the new motro or removed the old one please i really want to do this mod badly any help will be appreciated!!

uhh

hey..well i've never done this mod..but i know you need a pinion remover in order to get it off. If you dont wanna spend like 10$ for one..i heard you can heat it up and get it off that way..but i say get a pinion remover. Thats really all i know on this subject..sorry..As for putting a new one one..(i have never changed them..soo) im pretty sure they just slip on..maybe a little harder then slipping on..Well..Good Luck - Dean

well.......

i bought a ninco pinion puller and press and the damned thing broke in my hands so i need any recommendation of a method to get the pinion off, a place to buy pinions, or a quality pinion puller that works on x-mod motors

ive heard that heating them after doing it a few times will give you a pile of brass. if you have a K'NEX dragster i took a 9 & 10 tooth plastic pinion from it. there is a motor with a brass gear in them but i dont have a pinion puller.
