Well it was a good find but you would have to have it converted to land frequency or risk a FCC violation.
Also I wonder just how good the ESC would be since it is for airplanes it most likely would NOT have reverse.

It probably has brakes since some airplanes have to use brakes to fold the props when going into glide mod but I'm not an airplane person by any measure so I'm probably wrong.

It is on air frequency and would just need to be retuned ( by a certified facility ) to a land frequency.

I guess you would have to ask an airplane person since they would most likely know of any stories like that.

I really dont think the FCC has people out everywhere scanning for illegal use of RC air frequencies but if it gets abused enough we could lose it.

I think most air frequency receivers can be re-tuned to land frequency easy and cheaply enough anyway.

Guys, don't use an air frequency in a car. If your control gets messed up, so what, you bump into a wall or something. If an RC plane can't be controlled anymore, someone could get seriously injured at worst, and at best a very expensive plane is going to break into a million chunks.

Just don't do it.

I have to agree with REZ for those reasons and more.There is no good reason to use an air frequency in a land vehicle.
You can have some air frequency receivers changed to land use by a certified shop and I am thinking of doing that at some point myself.

I have heard that Tower Hobbies is certified to retune receivers but I havnt confirmed that.

In USA it is illeagal to retun a 72 to 75 Mhz or vice versa. Just don't discussit, I guess. Who would know?
