What's the logic with Jap kits and motors
I just don't get why the UK and USA cars have 2.2 motors and only a couple of the Jap cars come with 2.2. Anyone got a idea because it kind of makes me wonder.

I think it's marketing research.... They pay some goof ball to sit on a computer and read the posts in these forums and I guess they have figured out that the 1.0 motor isn't that sought after...
In my opinion, I think it's all marketing.. Just an opinion.

Well on guess is Japanese love up grading slowly. They burn the motrs out first and upgrade. it keeps the prices down in some manufactors. They send more money later .

if you have a table and you race your bit char-g on it. you would know that its hard to drive consistantly on a small surface with a motor faster than 2.2
so its only fair for them to give you a 1.0 so you can drive in small spaces. and if you have bigger areas, you can always upgrade your motor
