I dunno, what with the FCC and Hobbico making a BIG THING about foreign r/c cars not conforming to the FCC regulations (27MHz and 49MHz)...We might just see LESS of the Bits being offered by US retailers!

What are the US retailers with Char-g's getting letters from FCC Namuna? Are they being threatened?

Amazingly i have 3 Bits/Microsizers the 2 Micros are 27 and 49...they get major interference with my refridgerator (i think), but my Bit 35 never stutters or acts psycho.

it's all a government conspiracy to save channels for their kiddy pr0n.

As I understand it, it is an 'implied' threat at this point. Whether or not the FCC will take actions against any US retailers that refuse to conform remains to be seen...Then again, how many retailers are going to want to take on the FCC?

In the coming weeks we'll see what happens.

Going to be intersting on this. Have any reseller gotten a real FCC letter yet?

Yes the FCC does have the power to go in, grab, lockdown, close you down what ever.

If any of you were around the mid 70 and remember the CD boom { IE nightmare } They use to bust places that mfg power amps and modified Ham gear to transmit in the 27mhz band. They put stop order all the way to taking the illegal gear.

On the Bits in the 27 and 49 mhz is that if they DONT have a FCC ID number they are still consider illegal even if they have identical parts to a Microsizer. One pass a spur test and one did not.

I am hope this holds off untill the Buses pop out!

I think if we're not buying stuff that isn't "crack" or "weed" from the net retailers the government should shove off. We are talking about a toy car not a Russian assualt riffle or something.

Blah I keep having to edit my posts cause I read them later and realize my sentences are all messed up...words in wrong place...similar words in place of words...pahahaaha I can't type what I'm thinking in a normal way.

Yep, except I thought someone mentioned something about the possibility of customs intercepting and confiscating them, since they're technically "illegal" r/c freqs. Same deal w/ importing modchips or gba flash carts from lik-sang or something I guess; it's pretty unlikely they'd catch it but it would suck if it happened to you.

I imagine you would be out all your money and just receive a empty box in the mail with a customs note on it.

I personally don't think a dollar off is a SUPER CLEARANCE/SALE.

Wonder why tiny isn't going to have the orriginal char-g's anymore. There's bodies you can't get in microsizers.
