Anyone know how to do kameleon paint??
I really want to paint my car with this kind of paint where it goes from purple to any color. Anyone knowhow???

There are 3 steps involved. First is the can of black base coat, next the can of the color, finally the can of the clear.

hey gmdrmr, can you show me pics of something with the gold/purple kit? i don't want the purple cause it looks green most of the time. And should i apply the base coat and the top coat that it comes with? Someone else suggested not to use the black base coat it comes with and to use tamiya flat black or something.

well since the black base coat it comes with is made for it im gonna say it would be the best

It takes to applications of step one, ie the black bascoat. You wet sand this base coat and apply the color, stage 2. Then you apply alot of stage three clear coat.

ok, first of all, please dont make multiple posts about the same thing in 5 min. intervals. you made "Anyone know how to do kameleon paint??" and a Dupli Color thread in like 30 min.. The paint is pretty good. My friend painted his go ped silver/green and it looks nice. You need to buy the three cans to do it, base, over, and clear i think.. also some guy already did it.. he said he didnt use one of the cans.. i forgot which one.. you can find it on this forum. i forgot where it was.
