Stage2 engine performance?

How differntly do they each perform and are they really any faster then the stock motors?

I really wanna set....but i'm kinda broke because i bought DDR for my PS2.That's $40.00 that could have gone into my car

Good question.
I cant decide between the stage 1,stage 2 or the spin brush pro(sbp) motors.

The extra 6,000RPM should make a pretty good difference in perormance.

The stage 2 gives up a little bit of torque to the stage 1 but the stage 2 hammers stage 1 in top speed. It's well worth it. The spinbrush motor is a lot more work than just changing a bevel gear and plugging in the connector. I did it and the difference was not worth the additional installation time or the extra maintenance. Keep in mind the spinbrush requires capacitors to be soldered and motor mount shims for proper pinion gear to bevel gear meshing.

I have stage 2 drift in mine and the batteries have an ok run time. And after they are to run down for speed I just wet my floor and do doughnuts like crazy.

How long do you figure it'll run with the RS Batt kit? I got em' and they power my stock motor a really long time.

LOL, nice simile. The stage 2 motors are visibly faster than stage 1. But like aperson said they do eat up battery life. But good thing I have rechargable batteries.
