Unhappy lost steering

Well I bought one of these bikes for my wife and one for myself .The second day I had them, I ran mine for a while it was fine. So I decide to give the wifes a run and the steering didn't work. I put fresh batteries in it and still no steering. I went back to running mine, then that bike lost it's steering also noticed when in reverse the bikes would wobble real bad. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Wow, that's very strange - have you done the obvious things such as check the wheel rotation (the tires can rub if they aren't centered properly). Have you tried cycling the cells to make sure they are fully charged? Are there any other factors that you might not have included in your description, such as the dropping of an electromagnetic radiation bomb next door?

Well I tried new batteries and no luck. I didn't drop them or even run them into anything. I did notice the charge light stay on for a little bit after take the bikes off the charger, don't know if that means anything I'm a little frustrated.

I found that the culprit was dust and other road/floor debris that got pushed up into the steering magnets and well as getting entangled into the fork pivot and wheel. After cleaning with a pair of tweezers, some gentle use of canned air, and little manual break in (wobbled it back and forth) of the steering pivot my bike's back up and running like a champ.
Rrickatic, did you try red600's tip above?

Well I found out what was wrong with the red bike, a broken wire
to the coil in the front fork. Wasnt easy to see so I took the bike apart carefully. tried reattaching the wire and it broke in a different place, That wire is very thin. How do I go about returning the blue bike, I did not open this one and it doesnt work either. I should ask can I return the blue bike?
