i think i def have the older style skyline cause the crystal sits on the top more and i think ive heard that some people have metal rear axles and i have plastic. my skyline has been through a lot. i crashed maybe 5-6 times with a stage 2 motor, and rayovac ic-3 batts which give it crazy power. it also fell down a set of 7stairs TWICE!!! i think im really lucky CAUSE THIS THING RUNS LIKE A CHAMP!! hopefully it will stay like this and ive already had my skyline for about 2-3weeks now so.
i also have an older model skyline and i ran mine under a garage door handle and it broke my hood and it broke many of the factory saulders thank god I got a sauldering iron
