for backup lights, you could run a diode from one of the motor leads (the one that goes positive when in reverse) to some led's. the diode will block the negative voltage from reaching the led as well as defeat any feedback from the motor and will only allow current to flow if it sees positive voltage. just make sure the diode is oriented in teh correct way. if it's giving too much voltage for the led's to handle, slip in another diode or two in series to drop the voltage.
duno about turn signals

thanks Zero, for turn signals i was thinking about running some wires off of the servo motor leads and putting flashing LEDs in. or i could add a third battery pack and make my own kit may weigh more but if it works ill be happy
