The real answer: It depends on what body you want to use, and how much work you are willing to put into it. I made the C5R body fit, though it was quite difficult and required some hacks to the chassis to make it work. I also did a MINI Cooper, which aside from alot of sanding in the wheelwells, went pretty easily.
Also keep in mind that since you have a Civic, you have the longest chassis. Look for a Mini-Z body that matches that setting, otherwise you'll have to buy a new driveshaft. (Though slugbugg's CF driveshafts are nice enough to buy even if you aren't primarily looking to get a different size)
You'll normally have to modify or make a new front mounting tab, and for the rear, you can either use velcro on the battery clips or else fab a standoff to screw the stock rear clip into.
