I don't know yet, but I'll be able to tell you if it can take 7.2 in the next day or two. I am going to try and install 2 more AAA batteries and see what happens.

No, just that the Xmods have my attention right now. As soon as the new SE's come out, I'll be running to get them too. I am planning to do some custom paint jobs on some of my Zips soon, maybe try something a little different. I want to test something out before doing it to an Xmod.

Thumbs up

about the voltage!
I've add 4 extra batteries with the zz se batterie case from remote. I've also added a 9v with the 4 AAA that was in there. it ran fine....

if that was all in series......you have 18.6 volts running thru your xm!!! you sure you didn't fry anything? how about some pics showing how you fit all that in? not that i don't believe you, but i just find it hard to believe running 18.6 volts in your XM is fine...

I didn't run the 9v + 8AAA battaries in series... i had 4 AAA already in, then a took the battery case for the Zip Zap SE remote and add four more that would be 8AAA.... it ran fine... the only problem was that the battaries ran a liitle hot... Then i decided to take the extra 4 that a added out and stick in a 9v... so that would be 9v + 4AAA.... it ran like crazy... the 4AAA that was in the stock got really hot... i was worry they would pop on me... but they didn't... the only other problem i had was that i place the 9v on the back top of the spoiler... so everytime i would take a right turn the car would do some flips.... i will try to post pics once i get a dig carm....
