my attena broke!!!

Can you belive my attena for the remote broke? it broke at the base and looks like i have to sauder it together... Does anyone have spare that they could sell to me?

The telescopic antennas that these use are normal. Just buy a dome clone, one of those small 1/64 cars in domes. They almost all use telescopic screw in antennas... and they're all cheap now.

that happed to me, i went my rs, and they shipped me a new one for 2.50 i think

Thanks everyone, I went to radio shack and they said that I have wait untill March 20 to get the replacment attenna....
I tried saudering , and all but it just had no effect.... and they said that it will cost $4.95 plus tax and all.... So I am just stuck making more lights and doing more stupid stuff to my civic untill my new car comes in....

OK your local RS guy is a little off on the date. If you call 1-800-the-shack you can tell them you want part # 12414413 - ANTENNA TX $4.69 (Taken directly from CJ's FAQ) And if you'r order is $10.00 or more you get free shipping. So you may want to get some other spare parts as well. OR you can go to RS and look at their replacement antenna's They may have a Cordless Phone antenna that may fit.

I too had to replace an antenna. I ordered a replacement but the ship date is march 30th. I went to my local radio shack and found a replacement that will work. It is part number 270-1414a. Althought this antenna is a little shorter i have not found any decreased range.

Scrounge where you have to. I'll probably wait till April or May before I order special order parts. I have a few things I want to get. I'll just start setting aside the $$ now and place a larger order when the parts are more readily available.
