first the perfection motors are a brand. there fast motor is the king 4.2 and when you order you get 2 motors single speed and pro, the pro is made for 2 speed ms/bit but is faster in single speed too
i dont have an r-spec but i hear its rated about 3.8 with crazy torque

They're just a newer version of the older "Tomys"
There are some subtle differences, but I don't own one. Maybe hog, or DT can clarify better.

thats the first time i have heard that, i believe that they are just slighty improved over the normal bits/ms, with the exepttion of the bodys. also that they have some serious range probs

Yeah, that's fair enough but there's a long way from observations like that and saying they have mosfets in the drive train.....
I'll tell you one thing, the circuit design is VERY different to he first series BCG.

1. They may not be mosfets, but they are lower resistance transistors. That meens they are faster because they supply more power to the motor. I've really only noticed this in the torque though. The top speed is still about the same.
2. The car, as a whole, is better made. Less problems with inconsistancies.
3. The charging station is stronger, so it wont break as often.
4. The wheels are about the same size all around, so that helps it asthetically.
5. The bodies, as you may have noticed, have a little more effort put in to them.
6. They are a little lower to the ground. But that can be a problem on surfaces like carpet. It will catch on anything uneven.
7. They have more frequencies available and are on completely different freqs than most other cars, so you can run more at the same time.
8. I can't comment on all the frequencies, because I only have two. The 27mhz"a" and the 27mhz"b". The range sucks for them.
9. If it does go out of range or recieve interference, it will continue it's last command for a split second. So in other words, if you were driving away from youself when it goes out of range, then it will continue going away from yourself. If you were sitting down, you will now probably have to get up and walk to the car to get it back in range. One of mine only goes about 4~6 ft. If you were just getting ready to make a turn on a track, then it will probably slam into the wall.
10. I did make a dual cell super bit and it's a lot faster than my other dual cells. But the control problem makes it suck eggs.
ph2t has a good point. Try to weed through the crazy talk that a lot of over excited people use. And dont hesitate to call people's bluffs. Some people claim crazy things like "a bit with 3:1 gear ratio that flies faster than the speed of sound!!!!"
I wouldn't say the superbit is a bad car. It just needs some solutions to the range problem.

Very succinct and astute observations there boho, well done.
The 40Mhz cars don't suffer from the "last command remembered" problem and their range is a lot better.
