Just wanted to say that my stock mini-z is alot faster than my new stock xmod skyline. I think alot has to do with the weight. The xmod seemed to be about 25% faster with its body off, but still was no where close to the mini-z. Regardless of its speed I am really impressed with the car and think it is well worth the $50.
i dont think i am going to try it but it,but it looks like all you would have to do is trim off the side tabs on the mini-z body and find a way to add the piece from the xmod that secures the body on. The bodys are just about the same size, and the wheel wells matched up the same, and the width is also the same, so im sure it wouldnt be too hard.
