i'm going to guess a few things.
1. your car has traveled out of it's range from the controller
2. you have frequency from other things in the room messing with your car's frequency and it's causing it to get a read and no read and read and no read.
3. you have some hair wrapped around the gears or motor.
4. your pushing forward and then letting off the button then pressing forward again.
you can choose which answer you like best.

I used to have a really good Clone Car, but now it does that too, especially when it tries to turn... Its worst when its going reverse AND turning... I check everything, hairs, dust in gears, battery etc but it still sucks

What brand car is it? You can swap out the antenna for a better one.

Which Tomy is it? What Mhz? Check the batt in the car to se if it's making good contact, and then you can untie the antenna knot under the PCB. This will give you more length for better reception..
How many times in a row are you charging? Charge it about 5 times in a row, and see if that helps it out..
Good luck...

Do you mean 35mhz? There is no "37"
The only other thing I can suggest is to unsolder the antenna, and put a new one on there.
I guess you could also try re-seating your motor in it's bay. Try giving it a 1/4 turn, and then try it again..

alrite but for unsolderding the antena and then soldering a new one....does the antena have to be like a bunch of copper wire antena or like a thick long peice of coper antena witch one would work best

yah the same thing happened with my 27 mhz. one i tried messing with the antena but it came of, along with all the other wires. I bought another 27mhz and that one doesnt work either. My friend bought a 49mhz and it had no problems and got more than twice the distance of mine. can anyone explain this?
