I Am Sooo Confused!!!!!!!!!! Help!! Please!!!!!!

I am so confused when it comes to the famous "dual cell mod". Please don't criticize, i already know i'm stupid. Could anybody please explain it to me, with pictures preferably. I have tons of stock ms batteries, and i'm not that great with the soldering gun. THANX!!!!

I would suggest upgrading your motor and gearsets
to improve power . If it's more run time you're lookin for ,.
then just upgrade to a 150 , 160 , or 200 mah battery .
If you have stock batts in your car , these upgrades
will seem heaven sent !!

At the inception of " dual battery mods " , I believe , a 2.6
motor was the highest out , while 1.0 was the norm .
50,60, & 100 mah batteries were also the norm . You can achieve the same by upgrading to a 3.8 motor with a 150
mah battery .

is the 3.8 the one ms makes with the red cap? and right now i have only stock batteries (tomy)

In a nutshell; A Dual Cell Mod means you're connecting 2 batteries, and in most cases in 'series' (that means you connect the positive end of one battery to the negative end of the other when connecting them together).

In connecting the 2 batteries in this manner you are increasing the voltage. The more voltage you push through, the higher the RPMs you'll get from the Motor.

Namuna pretty much summed it up. But ActofGod took it to a higher level, the layman's dual cell mod. It weighs about 50% of the original battery space, thus increasing acceleration and speed, and decreases the chances of flipping, spinning out, or wheelie-ing. Go to the bit science forum and look for the thread about his mod. He truly is an Act of God, with the projects he has done. My dad recently ordered 2 of the packs for me, so I should get them in about 2-4 days. You could also try the Layman's TRIcell. It weighs a LITTLE BIT less than the stock battery, but 3x the voltage, and that really makes your car go VROOOOOOMM!! Does that clear things up?

So you're new here and you don't know about a dual battery mod. That doesn't make you dumb or anything!! I was new here once and look how far I (and other people like Namuna and actofgod) have come! Time strengthens just about anything, so don't put yourself down.
