well i highly doubt it'd make a noticeable differance but if u put two of them in there it'd be nice then you've done you're first dual cell. you probably won't fry anything i believe the max safe voltage for the pcb is around 5 or 6 volts can't remember tho.

from what i hear it isnt that hard to do a dual cell, it just looks messed up because you have to tear out the back window and put it in that space, it just looks ugly, but it is a good mod.

Search the boards for internal dual cells. Those are better anyways cause they have a better center of gravity. They control better. External dual cells look like they have a beer keg hangin out the back. maybe they sould paint them silver and write BEER on it.

I wouldn't recommend using one of them batteries from RadioShack...Though a 1.5v will work just fine (The Bit PCB has been known to handle up to 9v and not blow), those batteries you saw were likely NOT rechargeable and therefore not really worth the effort for .1v or .2v more (vs. stock).

if ur gonna do it then just 4 the sake of having a dual cell anyways, get 2 3.6 NiMH's and put those together. that will be a whopping 7.2 volts. i think u will be the first person ive heard of who has done that. but i might be wrong
