have you undone the steering column and looked at the magneto discs, wires and magnet? the magnet is probably off center.

move the chip to the back of the car. there's a little screw in the front. undo it. pull off the clip and i will tell you what to do from there.

It is risky if you're not careful. But it's not all that bad. Although I would check the gears in the back first. If the back wheel axle is loose, then it probably creates alot of friction when it's turning, which creates drag. I don't mean loose like it comes out easy, I mean loose like it slides left and right easy. If so take the back wheels off, grab a small hammer or other useable object and gently bang the wheels closer to each other.
Opening the inside of the steering box is more for unequal steering problems.

Well, this part is highly technical! pull it.
Sorry, not making fun of you. Take your thumb and your forefinger. With your thumb on one wheel and your forefinger on the other, pull. Be carefull not to bend the axle too much.

you also might want to see if you can fit something about a half-a-millimeter-thick piece ofplastic or something in there.
