Different motor

Are there any faster motors for the epoch spec 2? I know it is fast with a 4 cell but I don't think I can do one. It is pretty fast stock but are there any faster motor that will drop in without any modding? thanks

Actually the motor is soldered in. You would have to unsolder it to change it. If you can solder, you can do the 4cell mod.

To date, I have not seen any other motors other than the stock one.

Thanks so no one has a compatible motor that will take down the stock motor and drop in, in it's place? What about moding the stocker?

I heard of someone unwinding the armature about 5 winds, but I don't know that it has improved anything, or not.

Unwinding it at least 15 winds might make some difference. Torque will drop but speed will increase. I would reccomend up to fifty off. Probably around 25 to 40 would work best. Before you run attempt to balance it!

Check the link above. The size specs are similar, but I'm not sure of voltage, etc....
