Fnny thing on guys t-maxx

I was down watching the weekly rc races and they were having the t-maxx class about to run. So 5 t-maxxs are off and practicing and one t-maxx is sounding all ruggy and loud and stuff. so he pulls over and check his temp, he was running 349*f, where the usual temp is 275* or so. He lets the engine cool and takes it back onto the track when the practicing was almost ending. He took 2 laps fine then all of the sudden, KABANG BANG, a huge flame just blew out of the cooling head, atleast the truck was a good 15" away from everyone. I dont know what happened, but im guessing his engine has some sort of mis-hap and just blew the glow plug out at 9000mph to the moon. It was neat to see, but not in the drivers opinion, it'll cost him $70 or so to reapir the burnt insides of the engine. lucky the flame didnt catch the gas tank and blow his truck apart. I dont know why it did that, me and my dad left about 10mins later (it was midnight). it twas a grand night for all.
