dual cell recharging

For my 2 cell BCG's I use a digi-q charger. It's the one that charges 4 cars/tanks at a time. I use the one that charges the tanks cause it uses "C" size batteries, which mean I don't have to keep replacing the batteries very often.
I just took the BCG charging stations and connected the wires to the charging stations on the digi-q charger, didn't even solder. Then I glued the BCG charging stations to the digi-q charger with super glue. It works like a charm. It even has LED indicators to tell you when it's done. I could be wrong, so please feel free to correct me, but the digi-qs are dual cell, or I should say they put out about the same voltage, so the charging units are easily converted.
I got my charger at toysrus in Japan. I don't know if they are sold in the states. It was about 2000 yen. that's around 16~18 dollars.
I've never timed them, but my dual cell/nimh/160mah/2.6volts runs for 30 to 45 minutes with a perfection 3.8.
PLEASE NOTE- I don't use it for my single cells because I noticed it made one get rather hot once. I don't know if it was a fluke, but I stopped charging the single cells with it. although, Before I was getting some outstanding run times with single cells too.
It could also be due to the fact that digi-qs use nimh, which charge slightly different. My single cell was a stock nicad.

Hey micro, could you give me more info on that recharger. I'm definitely interested, but I live in Okinawa. I would probably have to order it off the web.

I goy mine at Walmart i got a long wheel base Motor Works for about 15 USD with tax they're like 13.85 USD. Its stand alone and runs on three aaa batteries it has a nice little storage compartment for extra parts. To charge a bit you need to cut some of the tabs off the charger so you need a way to hold the car down but it works very well
