did some body try a DC/DC voltage boosters ?
home-flyers use usually when they want to use only 1 or 2 cells...

The small LiPoly cells would be better, I think. I ran the DWE 170 size on mine. It ran 20 minutes full throttle before I had to quit playing. I also had the (bigger) wheels from a Microsizer on it, so it was really fast.
DWE is Dynamics Unlimited. I purchased a combo kit from them which had the LiPoly cell and charger included. This cell would be very similar to the one that Tiny sells <http://tinyrc.com/shop/product.php?pid=443>
