kid riffic rc cars

hey
I bought the 4x4 and it was great
then they all went on sale so I picked up a formula 1 car and a car style suv

the car is ok mine is around bit size but longer it has motorized steering which kicks butt but the drive motor is hardwired and underpowered and too slow (I have a perfection3.8 in my bit)
what motor would you guys recomend replacing it with I am going to cut the wires and sodier another one in
I have a kit 2.6 which seemed good but too slow what would you guys say

o and buy the way the F1 car sucks it has 4 wheel drive and skid or tank steering but is messed up because of the pistol grip controler its also very slow and overall bad

I've also got one those gear driven steering cars. I'm in the process of converting it over to a monster truck. The gear driven steering works excellent with larger sized wheels. Much better than electromagnet steering. I also did a dual cell mod to it, and the speed is almost fast enough for me, but not quite. Either the pcb puts out very little voltage to the motor, or the motor just sucks. I’m not yet sure which. I’ll know more tonight. I may try adding a third cell tonight, and see if that works. If you try doing a simple motor upgrade, I’m afraid that it might not work. I have a bad feeling that the voltage coming from the pcb may not drive a faster motor.

The 4X4 trucks are a blast. A did a tri-cell mod to mine, and thing is crazy powerful. It’s almost too powerful to control now. My only big dislike is the charger. You get about a 2 minute run time off of it. I hooked the truck up to my peak charger, and got a 30 minute run time. BIG difference!!!!!
