New idea for muffler mods.

While I was going thru the parts cabinet in the machine shop at work, I ran across these. They are called "Spring Roll Pins". They have a gap in them, but I stuck them in a vise and closed it up(center bottom of pic). The only thing left to do is cut them to length with a dremel and cut off wheel. They come in various sizes and either chrome or gunmetal.

I would be willing to send a couple to you if you send me a self addressed stamp envelope.

Keep in mind that you will need a cutting wheel to cut them to size. If you pliers, you will flatten them.

Is that offer for all of us? I really enjoy seeing the stuff you do to these zip zaps and I would love to do the same. The only problem is I can never find the stuff to do them. =P

I will be willing to send some to a few people, I can only get so many at a time. I will email them with the address to send the SASE. You may need 2 stamps on the envelope due to the wieght.

You will need to specify what size you want. I will post a better pic later that gives an idea od each size.

I will go ahead and close the gaps up on them unless otherwise.

This is the cutting wheel I found cuts them the best with a dremel.

Here are the sizes from smallest to biggest, 1-4. Why anyone would want a #4 would make me wonder though, but hey, it's a free world.

Here is #1 & #2.
