Dodge Stealth Zip Zap

Here's a Tyco 440 Dodge Stealth body I found while looking for something in my massive junk collection. I forgot i had it! Lousy scanner picture, I need a digital camera.

Yep, a slot car body. It fit almost perfectly. A little bit of wheel well trimming and cutting slots front and rear. The PCB cover had to be removed because this body sits real low. There was some dremeling to remove the tabs on the inside sides of the car that snapped it on the slot car frame as well. The wheel wells fit much better than the picture shows as you are kinda looking up at the car from the bottom. The car is lying on it's side too so everything isn't settled as it usually is. These Tyco 440 bodies are almost made for Zips. The body width and wheel base length are perfect.

Sorry, don't have one. But, I'm sure a search for Tyco 440 slot cars at slot car sites or even ebay may lasso one for you. I put Tyco 440 into the ebay search engine and all kinds of stuff came up. You may have to buy the whole car though. But some of them are real cheap. Others aren't.

Great find Azimov! I was seriously just thinking to myself about how cool it would be to have a dodge stealth body.
