3 Cell Remote
Has anyone done a 3 cell mod to their remote. I was interested in doing this to charge my 2/3 cell bits/zaps, but i wasnt sure if it works.

yes, it will work. a lot of people end up wiring a 4AA battery holder to the controller to give it a good 6v. when the charging base is wired directly to the batteries, it will charge a 2 to 4 cell car very quickly. it will also boost range. some people even use a 9v battery with a 5v limiting thingy on it(sorry i cant remember the actual terminology).

Does anyone have any pictures or a better detail on how this would be done. Can i just hook up a 3AA battery holder to the original battery terminals, or do i have to hook them up to the charger wires?

if you hook it up to the battery terminals, then it will charge the car and throw a stronger signal, if you only do it to the charge base wires then it will only charge off of the 3AA's and you would need the other 2AAAs int he contorller like normal to control the car.
