i'd buy, but it's a corvette.... i dont really like them, although they're one of the sweetest performance cars out there.... (0.99gs on the skidpad.... with a heavy-ass AMERICAN car!!)
hmmm there was a 1/24 lambo murcialago, and calsonic for 30 bucks at the LHS... even had a gun controller, so i think it was propo.. but for 30 bucks?! i dunno, cuz the tamiya models at that shop cost more than 40...

You might as well get an epoch for the price they are asking for that. Both are 1/43rd scale and a spec one is only $10 more and a spec 2 is only $20 more. Plus the epoch has some hop-ups out there to really get the car hooked up. I do like the body though.

The RadioShack "Digital Proportional" car you see is not a true propo car. it has 3-5 steps of turning. better than a bit, but not the true propo of the Epoch.
The Yokomo Puchi Maru is the smallest proportional car ($99). The Epoch is larger than bits, but a tons faster and are true proportional ($89).

That car looks sweet. Can you do mods to it like a zip zap can? Also is the body diecast or something because it looks really really shiny.

binary, the puchi can be bought for only $60 at stormers. go to the puchi sub forum for more info
ruddfan, the prices are in canadian dollars, so its about $30 US.. alots cheaper than a epoch... but the quality is about 100% lower

Actually, as of today $69.99 Canadian is roughly $50 USD, which is what Radio Shack is asking for these things here in the US.
I've seen one up close; they're pretty nice looking, but for that price I'd rather save up and get an epoch. Ideally, these things will be in the clearance bins in six months like their 1/43 Viper a while back.
