Lightbulb Better steering and faster bit.

Here is an idea I came up with. It is the same as other larger rc cars. You could just attach the pcb and turn the second botton on the controller up and down. Would it work?

i dont think the wires that come from the steerin has enough power to run a motor, and u cant just turn the buttons sidewyas cuz u'd have to take out the actual buttons from the inside and remount them in a different place, but if you have a lot of time this could probably work

Use 2 PCB's. The real problem is that you don't have perfectly equal output from 2 motors. I bet it would go crooked.

Thats how a digi-q works. Just buy one of those, They are also smaller than bits to boot.

DigiQ's are only 2 wheel drive though, and not 4 like the one in my pic.

Yes, but the PCB is already set up for two motor operation, therefore it would be much easier to do this mod than a bit.

I hate to tell you that you're wasting your time, because this is a very creative idea. The fact of the matter is that you cannot get perfectly equal output from the motors. This will cause the car to veer off to one side or another. Even the pricey and high tech digi-Q has a trim adjustment so it will track straight. It has a cpu that meters the output and controls it electronically. You need a propo car to do this mod to, that way you could compensate for the inconsistancy in motors, wiring, voltage output.

AUDI-TT,

I was about to suggest the same thing. They're so torque it's ridiculous.

How can we speed them up? I now have four batts in mine and it's pretty much the same speed. It will climb anything though.
