while these aren't remote control...i always thought they were a blast to play with. i'm lucky to still have the originals! missing a few peices though, but after almost 20 years, thats not bad.

man, your making me feel old! these are the orginal mobat (1982) and mauler (1985) GI JOE tanks! battery operated, moved forward, backward and turned left and right. there was nothing better than running over helpless cobra's with them....

So your saying they're wire control?! (A controller attached to the tank via thin wire)
If so, I think Iv seen those in Almost Human some 80's movie I saw back when. Any-hoo pretty cool. DONT sell them!

no, the mobat (green tank) is directed by moving the upper gun turret (the one with the sort pointy gun). the mauler (abrams) has a little control stick on the back that you move to change direction. it was very cool 20 years ago! they are still very nice tanks.

I'm 26 and I'll let you know right now. If you still had the original boxes for those tanks you'd be able to half pay for college with 'em.

sorry, no boxes. i do have all the accessories and they are in perfect working order! i still have a nice collection of original joe's. too many figures to list...here are the vehicles i have:
my wife thinks it's silly for someone almost 30 to have gi joe's, transformers and rc's. but she doesn't complain either...

You're not alone. My Fiance feels the same way. All my Joes and Transformers are in the attic of my mother's house, but I collect Zoids now and it drives my girl nuts.
