The best 4x4xfar
Hi there,
I have been keeping track of this forum for some time now and decided it was time to post a picture of my first creation, hope you like it.
It is based on a LXX and the bodyshell is two pull back Landrovers which were cut and joined together to produce the longer wheelbase that was required. Since this is an international forum I thought the G4 Challenge colour scheme would probably be recognisable by most of you.
More pictures to follow.
Landy Man (sorry about the name but it fits in with the car)

Very nice body but is the car a 4x4? If it is can we get some pics of the chassis?

That was a quick reply sessiz10 - sorry to disappoint you but the only mod to the chassis is the addition of a switch to allow charging while others are using the same frequency.
I am planning to try out a 4x4 TTTT next though so it may get a similar shell.

No idea who makes the pull backs, there are no markings on either the chassis or bodies. I got them from 'Landrover Enthusiast Magazine' here in the UK so I am guessing they were a limited edition short run, I had difficulty getting hold of these.

It's a very clean job. The patience it must have taken you to get that detail....wow. As Paula Abdul would say..."Well Done!" I especially like the luggage rack.

 WOW! Excellent work!
I really like the details... the rack and the intake. How about adding a winch on the front? It would cover up the tab.
I wish I had some of your skills!
