Help with custom charger

This has probably been gone over many a time but i was just wondering if could get longer run times by charging my bit with the charging pad hooked up to a 9V batt. If i keep it on for a little at a time will it allow me to run for a long period of time?

Considering the battery only holds 1.2 volts I think you would most likely damage your battery this way.

The best way to get longer run times is just charge it 2 or three times off the controller, or better yet get one of these:

If you really want some details on makeing a seperate charger that works and is safe, check Bit Science and Bit project forums.

you can get a single battery holder from radioshack for a buck. you just gota wedge it in the controller battery circuit in series and use an insulator at the terminal. this charges a dual cell fine.

In order to charge the stock battery with the stock charger you have to charge it about 10 times for it to reach its full capacity. I got this from a reliable source on another forum and have done it myself and I got a 30+ minute running time (had to go to school so I couldnt test it further)
