Who says the ZZ bodies won't fit a bit?
Actually, I had about 4 FandF kits (the only way you can get the Turbo and NOS engines)
But worth it for the parts... (gears, tires, and motors etc.. about $12.95)
Anyway, I've been wondering what to do with the extra bodies and figured, what the heck... If it works, then I got ZZs and Bits with the same body... Not my favorite bodies, but they look great together and no problem if I ruin it. cause then I might win the Worst TinyRC contest! It was fun anyway.
Details are here

NICE! That's so cool looking! The only thing that I think might make it better would be if you cut the bodies along the lines that are already there. For instance, if you cut the back along that line in the roof, then between the front and back windows and down along the door line. It would be a lot harder to cut, but I think the results would be better.
that's a great idea there. I was using my Eclipse body as a guinea pig too (I ordered it online and it came pretty smashed up anyway. Maybe I'll put the RX7 under the knife though and make some sort of Frankencar.

Thanks John! I will definitely do that on my next body mod because it will save the grief I'm going through; trying to match the paint.
This was mainly a test to see how well it worked.. I've already sanded and smoothed the seam just can't match the paint.. sigh..
LOL a Frankencar, huh? Go for it!

thats sort of interesting, but now it has no ROOF!!!
id say put some putty/glue to fill in the cracks, and sand it down and then repaint the whole car

<grin> that's the next project, MTL. Scale 1/64! This one was just a quickie prototype to make sure there were no problems with the fit. But I would still like to match the paint on this one just for "completion"

I'll get some better pictures for you posted... I just really wanted to wait until I actually finished painting the weld marks properly.
I'm also debating to start over with a new body using John's advice above. Hindsight: I should have used the red one... red's an easier color to match.. but this was fun.

Gears
Do the gears and tires that come with the Fandf Kit fit in Bit Char-g?

Zip Zap Rear axles/wheels/tires and gears fit the Bit's rear, Aaronmamo. To use the front wheels you have to do some modifying.

Very good job. I have always loved the fast and the furious body kit.
