kinda off topic

I know this is off topic but I just got a gas pocket bike for my b-day and when I rode it I was amazed about how fast it goes. I can top it at 32-35 mph under 8 seconds on smooth pavement. Plus these things got some tourqe you can do burn-outs even though I havent did one (YET ). Another thing I like is it feels like it has a turbo in it (even though it doesn't) cuz as soon as i hit 15mph i get a burst in speed and tourqe all the way to 35mph.I can't wait to tune it now.

this belongs in the misc discussion. but i doubt you'll be doing burnouts with a chainsaw motor and a cetrifigal clutch. more likely to just destroy the clutch. the burst you feel is the motor coming on "the pipe" its basicly super charging it self at a certain point much like a gas RC car does. the acceleration does surprise me a little but the top speed feels alot faster than it is. please tell me you're wearing a real helmet not a bicycle helmet on it. have fun and be safe.

fourteen inches of the ground also is it a cheap chinese one because the one i was going to buy (before i decided to save ALL my money instead of just SOME to buy a car) go about 60-70 mph and theyre not much more expensive than the 200 dollar one you probably have well still quit a bit of money but 500 isnt much mor for the performance considering you can mod them up to go 90+with the proper gearing wich would make them purly top speed bikes and not what theyre suposed to be wich is mini gp bikes but you can probably mod yours up to 50 with a new or bored out engin and the basic stuff they sell for the cheapy pocket bikes and you can put some stuff from mopeds and motor scooters on them but ill let you research it and findout yourself

For under $300 I am buying one with an automatic CVT tranny. Very cool. It can top 50 mph. I am fairly light so It will be very fast!

Oh yeah. for under $30 I can get a performance kit to increase the horsepower by up to 20%
