TinyRC.com motor prices
Can someone explain to me why the TinyRC motors are so expensive?
I understand it's kind of a niche market, but $10.99? Plus $5 for shipping?
What gives?

...i think that if everyone would buy more stuff from tiny that the price might drop some if they can order in LARGER qty. they could cut a deal..i know they dont have some specal motors/cars but they can try 2 get them 4 us they might get a better price being a dealer...(at least thats my opinion)??

i don't understand their 50% sale. cars that were $29.99, are now $19.99 with stickers? are these stickers really worth $5.00? after shipping that's $25.00 for the reg ms(with stickers). TRU has sports for $19.99, and pro's for $24.99(no shipping, no stickers). i really like tinyrc but, this sale doesn't make any since to me.  on the motors, i got a cannonball motor that kicks BUTT on any tomy or clone motor i've ever seen. the car's not all that great, but i got a stand alone charger, tx, batt, tires, and a camo hummer body all for $10.00(no shipping, no stickers).  this motor's like a 3.0 on steroids  sorry, but it just doesn't make any sense to me

Tiny has to pay for the website and the fourms so he has to charge enough to keep them up.

...i see your point about payin $16.00 4 1 motor ..just wait until you can place a bigger order and then it would be worth it...my last order was 1 M/s and 5 motors and 2 cells i payed $5.00 4 shippin and it was there in 3 day ! ( i got it at 8:00pm the delivery guy was stoned ) you cant beat that any where!! TINY ROCKS!!

Thanks SlowbutCourious!  The $5 shipping is because we use extremely fast shipping, so that most of our customers get their orders in 2-3 days. Our competitors mostly use UPS (and charge more) which means 1-2 weeks, plus we process orders the same business day in most instances, unlike others that take days just to process the order (not to mention order the items they were pretending were in stock). On a related note, however, I was going to hold off announcing it but the R-Spec v2 is going to be priced at just $9.99. In addition, we're working on a new version of the Shop, which will allow you to select special shipping for motors that's just $1. Support the Forums, shop TinyRC!
