Breaking in a Battery?

I was wondering if you need to break in a battery. I bought some 150mah Nimh batteries and I wonder if I really need to break them in by doing extra charges and stuff. I wonder also if I should tripple charge it all the time.

Any Ideas?

no, u don't need 2 break it in. double charging is ok to do all the time. triple charge if it's a 150 nihm. if it's the stock battery that came with the car then double charge is better for longer life.

You don't need to break in the battery, 'breakin in' is usually associated with Motors.

But you WILL notice that you don't get peak performance from the new batteries until you've gone through a few charge cycles.

As far as charging a 150mAH batt...If you wanted to FULLY charge that battery, you'd have to charge it 6 to 7 times on the charger (consecutive).

If you want to know more specific details, check out the Battery Basics thread (in my sig)
