1.6 motor
i'm getting my 1.6 motor tomorrow!!!! I live in hong kong and my friend was out today and he saw the 1.6's for sale, and I asked him to buy one for me....I should be getting it tomorrow at school...
too bad I don't have a bit to test it on now (my bit broke) but I will try this on my sisters bit, i'll also try combining it with the blue torque gears to see how steep this high torque motor can climb...
i'll tell u guys the results

well....at least u can smoke the stock cars with the 1.0 engine
how did your bit break?
i decided to get a 3.0 engine [waiting for the mail man] since the 3.8 might be a little too much...

I love my 2.2 motor but its sad because it came out of one of the first bit racer cars over two years ago when the bit char-g had not even come out. I think i might need a new one...the one i have craps out and barely moves around 1 minute into the charge about half the time.
heh just ranting.

RESULTS:
I was using my sisters yellow Lancer bit. It had the standard medium tires and soft suspention. I put in my 1.6 motor and my low gears, everything else was stock. On a full battery charge, I was able to effectively climb a maxium of roughly 25 degrees on a smooth hard surface.
Keep in mind that I had to do this by manually holding everything LOL. The controller, the surface, the angle measurer, and holding the bit for the first part, so my results MAY be off by alittle....
hope this helps alittle...
