Dual cell?
What is the best way to do a duel cell mod and is series or parallel better? Also could you use a 100Nimh and a 160Nimh together in a duel cell car.

i have a car that is parallel or series. it depends on the position of the jumpers. in parallel you dont need a special charger. it takes 5 or 6 cycles to totally charge but then you can switch the jumpers and it runs in series. stock clone batteries will get about 8-10mins of runtime that way and still be fast.
i use my car that is wired in just series tho since i have a 4aa charger. theres an article on this in bit science. bit science.

That's a goofy poll, because it depends on your racing/ driving style. If you don't want to go fast, and feel like running for a 1/2hour on a charge, run in parallel. If you want to go like a bat outta hell for a shorter time, run in series.
There is no "Best" way to do it. Just do what "YOU" like. That's what makes this hobby so fun. Match your car to your style.

If its in parallel, do you have to mod the controller? Or could you just do the QFM duel cell controller mod? And what is done on the QRM website?

I think (correct me if I'm wrong, or shut up and let me be right) the time I looked at QFM, what they did was run 2 jumper wires directly from the battery pack to the charging dock. You don't interrupt the juice to the controller, but you do interrupt the juice from the controller to the dock. This makes the charger not turn off after 45 seconds. This way, you can double/triple charge(or however much you want) without the need to remove and re-attach your car.

The poll does kind of show a lack of research.
The whole point of a dual cell mod is to up the voltage for faster running.
Do not mix batteries of different Ma capacities, you will get worse performance than the lower rated battery because they won't charge properly. On top of this your battery life will be shortened because of the same thing.

actually ive found that if you ad a huge spoiler and racing stripes you gain a lot of hp.
alloy mufflers make your car go really fast.

There is where you are wrong. To add 2 180mah cells in parallel would boost your run time to like 3 days, maybe some people like that they can run a doggy Bit for an obscene length of time. I personally like to up my voltage rather than run time The poll in itself is goofie because it's personal preferance. Neither is better unless you specify the application.
So... the whole point of a dual cell mod is to boost your advantage for a particular application. You never know, some people like to do a scale indy 500. (how boring would that be?)
