Will a 3.0 Bit Char-g motor work in my zz? I mean, it wont fry my PCB right? If it will, will it fry my PCB with a Laymans 2 cell? Plz help a newb out.

i dont think the 3.0 will fry ur pcb i dont know about layman's mod though

I've been running a laymans 3cell and don't have any problems except for runtime issues. You got it wrong though. It's the motor burning out that you should be worried about not the pcb. I hear the pcbs can handle 5volts so your okay with 4 bats max.

Yeah, I ran 4 std. cells for a while, and it ran fine for a long time, until the rear end stopped holding axles.
