6 volt problems
i dicide to go all out a do a 6 volt photo battery conversion. So i took out the stock battery, and jus solder the big 6v stright to the contacts, and to say the least it isnt fast. could i have done something wrong, also the postive post in the bit came off the ground in the process dose it make a diference, it is also heatin up the pcb

Did you check the connection.
and the thing might have low mAh.
if its getting how solder a resistor to save it alittle
but i can say that the 6 volt was a good idea i heard
5 volt wa the limit.
oh yea the might be a thing on the pcb that stops it
from using 6 volts.

I tried this mod as well, but on a ZipZap (I know this isn't the zz forum :-) ) I got the battery working, and the car was fast as all get out. The next day I went to use the car, and the battery was just about dead. Do you know if the cars are always draining some power, and it's just not normally noticed because rechargables are used? Should that mod also include a way to remove the battery?
