My RX-7 with Zip Zap Mods

Here's a pic of my red RX-7 with zip zap red gears tires and soft suspension bar. I also did a telescoping antenna mod which gave the car 20 feet of stutter free range and 25 feet max. here are some pics...

i'm not 100% sure about this but there were posts about replacing the front wheels with bigger wheels. and people were talking about how it hurt the handling/turning of bit char-g because of the larger front wheel..

I just left the wheels on the axle, they fit on there perfectly. I have to get another bit char-g though, the POT fell out on mine.

Be sure you use the same colored gears! I used the blue and the red gears with my bit. The red gears seam the best when i tried my bullet motor.

The red gears work good, and so do the blue gears. Make sure the gear on the axle is the same color as the gear that sits on the little metal poll. If those don't match up you can have bad meshing and that can cause the loud noise. You said you are going to use the blue axle gears. Use the blue "free" gear also (not the gear on the motor, but the gear that transfers the power from the motor to the wheels) Hope that helps you out.

yes definently get the ZZ gear set!! It's cheaper and the ratio's are exactly the same!! The thing about your clone motor...well i've noticed clone motors are very fast, but i'm not sure what the actual rating on them are. The reason why its so slow in your ZZ (i'm taking a guess here because i have no ZZ) is because the PCB board on the ZZ in not giving as much current to the motor compared to the BIT PCB. YOu have to do the ZZ PCB mod to get it to work right with the clone motor. Not sure how that works, try the ZZ forum. All i know is that it envolves resoldering some wires on the PCB.
