Bunta's "secret" mod!!
Hi Everyone!!
I've just come down from Mt. Akina tuning my new Porsche Bit when I've come across something others might find useful!
My 2 cell monster is very hard to control,, it use to flip and roll alot. I tuned the tires and that worked,, but I discovered another approach. One that results in very fun driving stunts.
I cut some thin platic (like the one the packaging is made of), and I fabricated a thin wing wider than my bit (by a about 1/2 inch) and taped it under my car.
Yata!!! My car doesn't flip anymore!! (well alot less now)
You can barely see the clear plastic wing under my car.
Good mountain racer trick! (like gutter trick)

Nice. Like trainer wheels. Only not. BTW, it'd be nice if someone actually made an Akina track. that would be so cool.

Is the plastic on the body of your car? Or is it under the car, not the body? I might think of doing this... Although I have a 2.2 motor, my car can STILL flip...only after when my mom or dad has finished washing the floors, because the floor is slightly wet, and the tires grip awesome.
BTW, has anyone drove there car on a table that has water on it? Like, water that is not seeable, you can see it, I have. At school, it is fun

Hi Xatu,,
I taped a small plastic "wing" to the underside of my chassis, not the body.
I hope this helps,,,
Have you checked out my website?

Thanx, I will be tring that for sure, I just need to find some clear plastic...hmm....I have a broken CD case, I hope that works. On your site, do you happen to have a tutorial for the plastic guard like the other mods?

I noticed that under my car, there is not much ground clearance. Did yours scrape the ground?

Ok, ok, ok, nevermind, I got it. I cut some small pieces of plastic, and they are really thin. I will glue them onto the bottom of my car, and hopefully they will work.
[edit]
I have one problem, when I go to charge it, there are 2 little pieces of plastic on the controller that will interfere and it won't fit on right. I will probably just shave them off.

Ok, instead of gluing them onto the unit, I decided to glue them onto the body. I will let it dry overnight, and take some pics tomorrow after school.

Ah crap. They glued on fine over night, I added a tad bit more glue this morning, but when I took my car to school, they both fell off.... I will redo it, and not take my car to school tomrorow.
