That is the steering wire right? THe THIN THIN THIN copper wire? So if I remove that the ONLY thing that will go wrong is steering will stop? Correct?

Yes. And it is entirley possible to solder it back.

NOT 2 hard 2 solder back,

1.just melt the enamel off the copper wire at the end ( I USE A LIGHTER),

2.wipe the end off with ur fingers so its nice n clean,

3.melt a little solder on the end of ur iron,

4.then rub the end of the enamelled wire against the solder on the iron

5.U should SEE that the wire end HAS A VERY THIN solder coating now.

5.Hold this end against the PCB solder point, touch the iron on the point, take the iron away.

6. FIXED!
