Well, here's my first custom. I really like this K.I.T. body and wanted to use it on a car, so I figured I would start on a clone. I plan on making another of these without the large wheels in front. The only functional improvement I noticed with the large front wheels is driveability on carpet. This thing hauls ass on carpet.
i like it, any suggestions or tips on how to do it for those of us who may be getting evil thoughts on what to do with all those kit racer bodys laying around making the place look messy (me)

ya lol, i really like it but itd be a lot more interestion if ya told us how you did it, and how you got it to fit on the bit so perfectly,
really gj tho.
The body mounts on the K.I.T. did not change. The rear body tab on the chassis needed some minor shaving and the front tab was removed completely. From there I just went Double Live Gonzo with a Dremel until the body cleared the chassis. Then, I filed a groove at the front bottom edge of the chassis for the new body tab/rollerbumper deal. Next I trimmed the Rollerbumper™ from the K.I.T. car and glued that little mofacki right in the groove I made earlier. At this point I needed to fine tune the fit with a file and open up the front wheel openings quite a bit to make room for the large front wheels. That's pretty much it... the pix should show the whole mess.
