2 battery stability
after doing two battery cars i had one major problem. controlling all that power. heres what i have done to make my ride handle better.
suspension springs. those stabilizer bars just dont cut it.
modified rear axle. i dremelled out the axle holder and slipped a qtip tube over the axle and epoxied it in place to tighter specs than stock.
more weight over the rear axle. this is still work in progress but i have a dime taped on top of the body/2nd battery and this really helps it go strait. it loses a little bit of acceleration off the line but is neglegable with two batteries and a good motor and keeps the rear end from slipping around on slick surfaces.
the body looks fairly crude at the moment but my next project is to incorporate all the extra weight into the shape of a new body then she will be painted up and ready to bling.

look up qtip on google or in a grocery store
figure it out.
dualies aint needed. i may still put on thicker tires but i dont think its needed anymore. weight placement and springs seems to be the most critical. did i mention that it rides wheelies?

Sanding down the tyres using VERY FINE sandpaper while the wheels are moving works wonders.
I used the edge of the dremel cutting disc to do mine, just so the sheen is taken off. (the brown/red disc, the one which breaks if u breathe on it too hard! lol)
My 3 cell modified length drag panther used 2 go in circles, now it goes straight!
I coundn't believe the difference!
DOWN to basics-
TRACTION is important.

Hey hawg..whatever,
I moved my battery a bit forward (just in front of the rear axle).
I had no problem with hooking up, or with wheelies. (unless you do it on purpose).
Also, try the Toyota bB body. You can fit the second cell directly under the cab right between the front and rear axles.
Works for me.
