Unhappy clone problems

i need a little help here, my "micromites" clone has had some problems. when the car gets more than a few inches away it doesn't work. i don't think it the car because it works fine with other controllers. i have had this car for a while and it just started doing this lately. thanks for your help

Well it's probably just your controller that's acting up. Try doing some mods on it to increase range. Go to www.questformadness.com and go through their mods section, it's actually quite extensive

hmm try checking antenna connections.... if the car works fine with other controllers, it might be the controller antenna not contacting properly..

I'm assuming you have fresh batteries in your tx????

Something in your tx may have gone bad. If a transistor / resistor has failed you probably won't be able to physically look at it and tell unless it actually burned. If your car works okay with another controller, use that one in the meantime while you work out the problem with your tx. What frequency?

batts are brand new, and the freq is 27. it's one of those bensn round controllers.

the controller i am using for it now is the one with my moto gp, it looks the same but the charger is different. it stinks because i have to charge with one controller and drive with another

are those Tomy multiband controllers still around? thanks
