Angry I F_ _ _ _ D Up My Zip Zap

I was trying the rare earth magnet swap. Put them in super glued them in place. Turned it on and they werent working. So pryed them back out and flipped them around cause I thought the polarity was wrong still no good. So said screw these magnets and put back the stock ones back in. Now it only turns to one direction. So again thought I put them in wrong and tried the other way still doesnt work. I checked the lil copper wires going to the borad none are broke and they are still soldered on. Anyone now what it could be? Is it fixable or do I need a new car?

Check very carefully. If they look good, try and check their continuity.

Ive tried using the magnets in both directions and it doesnt work. It had a lil spot of pink on its one side and so did the plastic so I now its in the right spot but the things just messed up I guess. Dont now what I did wrong. The only thing I can think of is I got a lil spot of glue on the electro magnet and scraped it of with a xacto blade. I do now a thing about magnets so I dont now if that threw it off or something.

theres your problem while scraping the glue off you probably scraped to hard a broke the insulation on the steering coils, and made a nice little short!

Too bad if this is true, you'll either have to roll a new coil or buy a new car as a sacrifice!

Daaaaaamn I guess I messed up then. Simple ass mod and I jacked it up. Well if what your saying is true and im sure it is since ive messed with the magnets every way possible that suuucks. At least its a cheap car these zip zaps. Be more pissed if it was a $49 bit char g but still its only 4 days old. I guess on the bright side I can get a 49 frequencey since this 27 sucks. Anyways thanks for the replys guys.
