Gearing Info
For those who have the bit char-g gear set... i found out some cool stuff...
it's common knowledge that the gearing can be changed from tall, to medium to short (speed, normal, torque) but try switching around the idle and the axle.. mix and match them...
i found that the teal axle with the orange idle gear is a very fast and very quickly accelerating combination... if you think through the effects of large/small gears, you should be able to mix and match to VERY finely tune the torque vs speed on your bit/ms... the actual thinking process is pretty complicated... it took me an hour to figure out just that one combo
heh just thought i'd share this with everyone... does anyone have suggestions, comments?

one thing to note is that if you look at the idle gears, the few teeth (the smaller circle that touches the axle) are all different sizes.. blue, the circle is tiny, orange the circle is bigger, and tehn the teal the circle is really thick...
if you have the problem with it getting stuck, try reversing it... for example, teal idle and orange axle may stick.... if it does, try orange idle and teal axle.... etc

wow...it has a big diffrence..wouldnt he blue and the teal be and organe when ut to gether...orange and blue woud have decent top speed and accelertion...the orange and the teal would have better acceleration but more top speed

Mixing and matching gears will only get you gear meshing problems and you'll lose speed and torque.
Mixing teal (for speed) and blue (for torque) will NOT get you a fast torquey motor...it will get you jammed gears and a nonmoving car. Mixing a torquey motor and teal speed gears will get you a torquey fast car. Don't f*ck with the gears, keep them one color...

From everything I've read, those rears/gears are matched sets.

hmm well try it out... i found that the meshing problems only come into play when you pick up ur bit/// when it's on the ground, then the weight of the chassis keeps the gears close... except for teal and blue... the difference in the gears is prolly much too big... blue + orange and orange + teal does give you different results... try it...
teal and orange has much faster acceleration than simply teal, and the top speed is sacrificed only a little...
all done with stock bit, 3.0 tomy
