r-spec second thoughts
a whole lot of power.
this motor is loud.
not that much torque off the line but when it winds up the power kicks in big time.
the first 4 feet or so it lags behind then it opens up and goes way faster than anything that small should.
i think it really needs another battery to use full potential.
ill do the dual battery soon.

you should do a dual cell because its really not the mah that counts its the volts that do all cells should be 1.2 so when you dual it should be 2.4v

anyone remember that thread about the dual bat mod without having to actually use one of those big batteries? i remember he had 2 small batteries that fit inside the body. you think that would work?

depends if you want longer run time or power. i have a 3.8 and i need to use a dual battery to overcome its short commings.

thats what im figuring with the r-spec. on wood it takes off but not very fast for a few feet. i guess what it does after it winds up makes up for its shortcomings tho. the more i use it the more i cant believe how fast it is.
has anyone ran the r-spec with a dual battery yet?

but you only get 40MHa when you use those button cells, wich means decreased runtimes, unless you have a peak charger then you can put 3 of these bad boys in there and just fly, hell i bet you could fit 6 under that pcb, i can fit 2 of the normal cells, i imagine yuo can fit 3 in place of 1 so that would beam 6 cells... poor little pcb wont know whathit it.

this may be a stupid question but if you do a dual cell battery thing do u need a different charger or can u just charge the batteries withe the regular controller like 5 times. oh my r-spec runs fast as hell for the five minutes it gets with the higher capacity battery
