Will this work

Here is my scematic, it's a little rought, but tell me iff this will work, while the switch is off, the duall cell mod takes place, when the switch is on only one cell is going. I got to thinking, also, would the second cell turned off be too much weight, and also is it even worth it to have a switch and what about charging?

Sorry about somany questions, but I'm not exactely a pro electrician

With the low cost of these cars, why not just build a two-cell mod and leave it that way?
The extra battery would just be more weight to haul around if it isn't being used for power. Also, the added switch/wiring means even MORE weight on your car.
The idea, while good in concept, probably isn't that good in practice.
