sorry to bring this up again

Ok i know this has been talked about before, but i've charged and ran my Spec-2 close to 20 times and still have only about a 4 min run time....Should i send it back for a new one or just do the batt mod?

The only way to tell if your battery is fully charged is to use a peak charger. I use one now and it has helped quite a bit. I even charge tomy cars on it. If you buy one make sure it is capable of charging 3 cells. Mine charges 1-10 cells and you can adjust the charge rates.

are u single or double charging, also what are u running the car on? if its thick carpet the drag on the car will run the batteries down alot faster than if it was on hard floor

Check it out http://www.rc-dymond.com/ IM using the super dymond but it looks like the less expensive one would work great also! These chargers will handel all your R/C needs all in one.

I just cut the end off my Epoch charger and hooked the clips from the Dymond to it and set the charge rate to .8 amps. It looks like the Dymond unit under the super turbo on the site would work great also.

Cool, thanks for the info on the battery charger. Right now i',m in the process of picking up the a/c adapter for the Spec-2 and will test this out to see if i get any better runs out of it. i'm hoping i just have a batch of weak batteries that i've been using in the charger.

ok here's the scoop. I just picked up the a/c adapter for the Epoch and if i double charge it i can get 9~10 min runtime. Is this acceptable??
